8th Recon Regiment
We are the 8th Recon Regiment (Taisatsu Rentai) branch of the 8th Shidan Imperial Japanese reenactment group with a focus on authenticity. We are a historical organization that strives for excellence in both accurately portraying and educating others of Japan's servicemen and women.
For most of us this is considered to be a hobby; however, all of us share a great sense of pride in what we do. We seek excellence in all aspects of our participation, and we endeavor to maintain a focused goal revolving around the Pacific War.
We hold common values and wish to achieve common goals. However, we are more than prepared for any battlefield from 1939-45.
